Summary: Determining compile times
Description:
It would be a nice to know thing when lin has completed to know how much
time it took. The results could be put in some file/log and tallied up for
all the modules.

I suppose a time stamp at the beginning and end of a lin would work.

Honoured in theedge, there's now a uniform start time and stop time marker
in the compile logs available.
