try lrm qt3 first and then lin qt3. Qt have a nasty behaviour on
recompiling. i didn't insert a lrm command because the lin process is
long enough.

The problem starts with not finding some X11 libs;
/usr/bin/ld: warning: libXxf86vm.so.1, needed by
/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so, not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)
/usr/bin/ld: warning: libXt.so.6, needed by /usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so,
not found (try using -rpath or -rpath-link)
Yes, qt3.rc and kde3.rc are in /etc/profile.d (logged out/in). Ran
ldconfig, still got the same error. Not run into this before so dunno
what to do. XOrg comipled fine.

Try adding /usr/X11R6/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf and see if that helps. That
entry might be missing in some cases. Let me know if it helps and if it
was missing.
