The build fails while installing the programs. Specifically it first
fails when trying to install mkfs.reiserfs becasue that file already
exists and it won't over write. So I delete /sbin/mkfs.reiserfs and
relin.

The build will now fail trying to install fsck.reiserfs because it
already exists and won't over write. So I delete both files and relin.
The build completes normally.

Look this is NOT a bug. Stop reporting the same text over and over
again. Show some logs to prove your point.

Here are portions of my /var/log/lunar/activity log:

20040827-01:55:57 lrm reiserfsprogs 3.6.18 success
20040827-01:56:27 lin reiserfsprogs 3.6.18 success
20040827-01:59:52 lrm reiserfsprogs 3.6.18 success
20040827-01:59:53 lin reiserfsprogs 3.6.18 success

Reiserfsprogs was installed. I removed it, then lin'ed it again it
worked. And then I did "lin -c reiserfsprogs" and it
compiled/installed again.

I cannot repreduce this issue on any of my 3 boxes. Is your system just
really messed? You tend to have lots of odd issues that seem to be
unique to you. And why did you post this multiple times?
