I just ran lin reiserfsprogs, 3 times in a row.  Success everytime.

The files you refer to are supposed to be symlinks, fsck.reiserfs and
mkfs.reiserfs.  If for some reason they were not symlinks on your lunar
box, that might generate the error condition you are describing.

Now that you have reiserfsprogs installed correctly, are you saying
that if you now do "lin -c reiserfsprogs" it will fail ?

The build fails at the point when installing the programs, specifically
when trying to install /sbin/mkfs.reiserfs. 

So I delete that file and relin. The build will fail again, this time
trying to install /sbin/fsck.reiserfs. 

So I delete both files, the build completes normally and the lin is
successful.
