to make it even clearer....

This shows that lvu depends <module> returned nothing for this example
module (kdelibs).
root at ozma ~ # lvu depends kdelibs3
root at ozma ~ #

This shows I have something that depends on kdelib3 installed on this
system.
root at ozma ~ # lvu installed kde3
3.2

This shows I have something that depends on kdelibs3 not installed on
this system.
root at ozma ~ # lvu installed kmymoney2
kmymoney2 is not installed

So it's not a matter of lvu depends only showing modules that are OR
are not installed. It just doesn't return anything!

Can anyone else confirm this behavior?

When doing a 'lvu depends ', nothing is returned. Looking into the
show_depends() method that is called when this command is run, it seems
that the if control is never entered.

no bug, it requires you to pass a valid module name. The lvu tools
doesn't do any error checking and when you call it without a module
name it just returns immediately. (by design).

My message was borked. html stripped out my <module> thinking is was an
html tag. Example. 'lvu depends <module>'.
