when configuring kdelibs3, it does a check for aspell.  If it doesn't
find it is alerts you that it will be built without aspell. If aspell
is installed it uses it (for whatever, maybe kspell?).  It's not listed
as an optional depends, maybe it could be?

checking aspell.h usability... yes
checking aspell.h presence... yes
checking for aspell.h... yes
