The script works but tells the user it failed and freezes the install.

This bug occurs in several modules... perhaps we use hc-cron as the test
case to fix it?

it wasn't the init.d script but I made a better one, the bug was in theedge
and concerns all init.d scripts. Funny enough only some of them suffer
from this. I'll have to investigate on a per-module basis.

uploaded a simple but effective fix for the init.d "failed" message which
was false.
