710 $ ldd `which sylpheed` 
        libgpgme.so.6 => not found

there is an error in that
you only had to log out and back in to add the environment variable
LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

see moonbase/libs/gpgme-0.3.x/profile.d/gpgme-0.3.x.rc

i will add a warning though now

and please remove the directory from your ld.so.conf
