compiz not working

1. You should use NVIDIA or NVIDIA-beta module.
NVIDIA-beta is more new than NVIDIA and is official.
2. Make sure you use correct Nvidia libraries:
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so -> libglx.so.256.35
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so.256.35
/usr/lib/libGLcore.so -> libGLcore.so.1
/usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1 -> libnvidia-glcore.so.256.35
/usr/lib/libGL.so -> libGL.so.1
/usr/lib/libGL.so.1 -> libGL.so.256.35
Nvidia-beta will install all required libs and symlinks. Including these
above.
