fc-cache in lunar-linux

Hi,
I am pretty new to lunar-linux. I have this small problem with it:

when I run fc-cache -v, I see that the fonts are getting indexed or what 
ever it does.
But... I also see that the directory structures goes deeper and deeper.

It looks like this for example:
/usr/share/fonts
/usr/share/fonts/fonts
/usr/share/fonts/fonts/fonts

and so on.
Whats wrong?
