Linux 2.6.24 and madwifi-0.9.3.3

Just a heads up for those of you using the stable madwifi driver:

The 2.6.24 kernel is a lot stricter in the names that it allows
in the drivers. So if you try to install a 2.6.24 kernel with the
madwifi-0.9.3.3 stable release you will get a segmentation fault
and stack trace on shutdown, and a whole load of error messages
on booting the new kernel. These are 'sysctl table check failed'.
This was fixed in svn in October: http://madwifi.org/changeset/2796

lrm madwifi
lin madwifi-svn
reboot

solves the problem.

Cheers

PS. I will submit a minor update to madwifi-svn/DETAILS to reset
UPDATED to a dynamic date like it used to be. Otherwise some
madwifi-svn users won't get the update.
