Hi, while I've build some modules (ex. gzip for
instance) with -mregparm (my bad) the module got
broken, but this has got me thinking, if for gzip we
make a tar.gz archive then how do we recover from a
gzip module runtime compilation bug? (the gzip will
segfault).
The gzip packet has .tar versions also, maybe we
should point to them?
Just an idea, because for fixing I've downloaded the
binary packet which is .tar and relin gzip with the
offending option remove.
BTW the archive that is generated for gzip and bzip2
are .tar only right?
