Survey of moonbase/python modules

Dear Lunar Python users,

I was already working through the obvious Python modules in the moonbase
to see which were out of date, but with the major update to Python-2.5
it might save everyone else some effort if I post the results here.

I'm not in a position to install and test everything because I don't
have all of the necessary required modules installed either (eg apache).

Questions arising:
If numpy is now numpy-1.0rc1 instead of numeric-24.2, so we need a numeric?
  -  but if numeric and numarray are deprecated, do we need either?
If we have pysqlite, do we still need pysqlite1?
If we have pygtk2, do we still need pygtk?
