Hello dear users,
as you might have noticed the latest udev update didn't go as smoothly
as it should have gone. We apologize for that matter.
If you have any issues with udev or related problems like missing
device nodes please do the following:
lin moonbase; lin -c e2fsprogs; lin -c udev
'lin moonbase' obviously gets you the latest updates.
'lin -c e2fsprogs' installs the latest version of the lunar mount
script. Note: If you have modified your mount script in /etc/init.d/
lunar is not going to replace the script. You have to manually replace
it by issuing:
cp /var/lib/lunar/moonbase/filesys/e2fsprogs/init.d/mount /etc/init.d/
You can make sure that you have the latest mount script by comparing
the checksums:
ee346f0446732a459a61aee187cf3ac7d64ea408 mount
'lin -c udev' makes sure you have the latest udev.rules in place. This
is important, especially for those who don't have hal installed.
Thats all for now, please report all bugs/issues to
http://bugs.lunar-linux.org
Thanks you for your patience and enjoy using Lunar Linux!
