recent whois is broken on my machine, how yours?

There is a problem with recent whois update: 4.7.15. It simply does not work 
for me displaying: 'Bad value for ai_flags' when I try to query any IP 
address. It looks other people encounter this problem too.

We should make any decision how we solve it: patching whois or playing with 
glibc?
