after shadow-4.0.8 all new version broke completely - segfaults, /bin/su 
not working etc. We have kept it at a lower version for this reason for 
a long time.

Feel free to test newer versions tho! I'm looking forward to updated 
versions that fix this.

There is no lvm-handling code in lunar atm AFAIK - neither in the mount 
script nor outside of it.
