avifile fails build (1.3.3)

I ran into the same thing lastnight, I had to manually 'mkdir 
/usr/include/avifile'  then it would work,  it was trying to create a 
symlink between two directories -- /usr/include/avifile-VER and a 
non-existant /usr/include/avifile.
