Problems with DVD Playback

Jeff,

Thanks for the response on both accounts.  I'll check / try them out
when I get my machine back.  Right now it's compiling the kernel
for pvt. variables.  Quite possible the mtrr selection got turned off
during my recent kernel upgrades.   Will let you know how it goes.
