open office :( no text anywhere

Aaaarrrgg !
I've lined openoffice-bin today. It was installed without error. But I
get no text in all gui (dialogs, menus, etc).

Trying to fix that I catched a small but in j2sdk's script
JavaPluginControlPanal : it wants /usr/bin/ls whereas I have only
/bin/ls. And it complains about regular expression errors... I fixed
this with ln -s /bin/ls ls in /usr/bin... But that's crap ;-).

Open Office used to run without problem, what's going on ?
