update and valgrind

The update was going fine and then at some point (not sure) I started getting 
this error;

 Saving LD_LIBRARY_PATH=":/opt/lunar/gnumeric/lib"
ls: relocation error: /usr/lib/valgrind/libpthread.so.0: undefined symbol: 
vgPlain_startup basename: too few arguments

So tried relin valgrind and got this;

Tried to remove the valgrind module but says it is not installed.
