gimp.org's ftp has been flaky lately and refusing connections at times.  
Luckly gimp.org has a collection of mirrors for its products,  one of which 
is ftp://ftp.cs.umn.edu/pub/gimp. Is gimp something we could add a mirrors 
list for as there are mirrors worldwide?  btw: gimp was not found on the 
lunar cache site [http://www.lunar-linux.org/lunar/cache] either.
