rcs not linning :(

I got this on trying to run 'make' manually


/bin/sh -x ./conf.sh 3>&1 >a.h 2>conf.err
./conf.sh: testing permissions ... 
./conf.sh: This command should not be run with superuser permissions.

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/rcs-5.7/src'

suggesting that we need to dropprivs.

I'm contemplating adding this to lunar but not soon so I think
build manuall for now's the best bet
