Gnome Session Problem

Lunar mail archives and I have exactly the same problem. My
.xsession-errors file look exactly like yours.

In my case I also get a gnome error message in the upper left
corner of my screen warning me that the gnome-settings-daemon
was not run (not found) and that certain things might not work.
In fact, like your situation, nothing works. It appears to me that
the gnome-settings-daemon (gsd) referred to in fact did not get
built or installed.

I am able to login using the default Gnome session, but of course,
many things do not work.

Assuming you get this, I would appreciate it if you would post it
to the Lunar mailing list.

I don't think so. The splash screen appears for a very short time, but
nothing seems to run.

I don't know if this can help but this is the Xsession-errors file i
