My system still starts kde3.1.4 insted of kde3.1.93 ??

I'm not sure what you mean here? Remove kde path/s from where?

export  KDEDIR=/opt/lunar/kde/current
export  PATH=/opt/lunar/kde/current/bin:$PATH

I'm sending you my .xinitrc and .xsession files to look at.

ralph at Lunar ~ $ echo $KDEDIR
/opt/lunar/kde/current
