preparing alsa 0.9.2 upgrade

I have installed alsaplayer and did some
   alsaplayer -o alsa zz.ogg
Comparing the speed with that of xmms i can't find any
diff. Does someone have any problem with alsa-driver
and the playing speed of alsaplayer (with 0.9.2
version of alsa-driver)?
