I successfully installed Lunar (Pico) onto a seperate disk and succesfully transferred that to a software RAID-1. I implemented the "failed drive" methodology (check the HOWTO) and now able to use a software RAID-1 system as a boot device w/ lilo. Not tested w/ grub! FYI Kongar
