Alsa & ISA pnp card troubles

Hi there,

 I now have my second isa pnp soundcard that gives trouble with the current
alsa-drivers.

 Both of them (which previously detected it  without hassles) are
now complaining that they can't get the right resources etc.
The one system is using an AWE64, and the other a Dell without a
CS4236 onboard sound.

Anybody else having similar troubles??
