RPM Fails to lin

Eureka I think I got it 
RPM seems to depend on Python
I'm not sure why but can one of the devs please add python as a requirement?

I'm tiring to lin rpm on a system and it keeps failing...
I seem to be getting a lot of these errors:
warning: function declaration isn't a prototype
Any suggestions?
Also what else do I need to submit that would allow you guys to help me out
