Problem installing krb5

It's gcc 3.2.x I just tried to build on lunar boxen with gcc 3.2, 3.2.1 and
3.2.2, only 3.2 built clean.
I've seen this error in the past (errno) on about 4 different platforms, but
it's going to take me a bit to remember/find it. I'll bump the version when
I work out a fix
more later on why I want us to support multiple gcc versions
