Cups and Ghostscript

As you know, we haven't updated cups in quite some time as a necessary 
component, pstoraster was removed.  Easy Software decided to include it with 
their own version of ghostscript called espgs.  They provide a patch against 
GNU ghostscript version 7.05, but not APFL version 8.0.

I propose we either move back to version 7.05 and apply the patch, or move 
from ghostscript to espgs.  That way we
a) are using GPL instead of APFL
b) can update cups to 1.1.18

Any thoughts?
