Requesting a module

It's a pci card not a pcmcia card...
Host-ap allows the prism 2/2.5/3 cards to act as a access point.
I would be willing to test host ap if there was anyone who could help me
make it into a module but I am going to need some serious handholding on
this one guys.. (as I have never done anything of the sort)

well lnet is lunar's networking configuration utility from kc8apf it
handels most of out networking needs, but some support is missing either
because we dont use those configurations, or cause we cant test cause of

lack of hardware.

for the prisim cards i made a module for the wlan-ng cards its a module
from hell though. you need pcmcia-cs installed then you can lin
linux-wlan-ng for the proper drivers for your card, though if you usr a
orinoco card also
youll have issues as cardmanager dosen's see any differance between the
cards :-/

lnet is not seetup for configuring these cards either linux-wlan-ng
drivers dont use the wirelesstools but they use there own
utilities, the prisim cards can do more than the wirelesstools support

youll have to read the documentation on the drivers to cofigure them

in time well have lnet working on them but at the monent it isnt a
priority for
us
