iproute2 troubles and no error caught :(

I've just recompiled iproute2 with absolutely NO errors, using gcc-3.2.3,
glibc-2.3.2 and kernel 2.4 headers.

So if this is a gcc-3.3.2 problem you are on your own.  Similarly if this is
a kernel-2.6 problem you are also unsupported.
