fontconfig troubles...

Hi there,

 in my eternal current quest to get GTK+-2 installed on a specific machine,
I'm following the advise to reinstall XFree86 (checked),
reinstall freetype2 (checked) and then fontconfig (trouble), note the
problems below is also seen (verbatim but substituting the 2.2.1 with 2.2.0)
with the stock Fontconfig 2.2.0 that comes with current moonbase:

not overwriting existing /etc/fonts/local.conf
