Hi all,

here's a slight update on happening stuff. As it looks now tchan will
roll out an ISO rather soon with a load of fixes, prolly tagged 1.3.1 or
so. In order to make sure everyone gets the fixes made in the core code
all theedge fixes have been merged back into lunar as of now.

An important fix worth mentioning is that lrm up to now could have
erased changed conf files. Apparently this has bugged a lot of people
and most modules were adjusted as to prevent this. The main cause
however was lying in unmaintained code I haven't had the time to look
over since we decided to remove the old lrm and replace it with lrm2.
lrm now respects md5sums created for config files and all should be well
now once more.

Besides that I'm doing some more cleaning up and beautifying the code.
Code lurkers will have seen the number of xxx.lunar files growing
steadily and subroutines shrinking. I hope one day to remove subroutines
alltogether, but it might take a while.

Meanwhile VERBOSE was the main option added to the core. If you
experience problems and want to send back some debugging info, turn on
VERBOSE in the feature menu and send us some output. VERBOSE really
helps to pinpoint the problems. I would go as far as to require it for
submissions to the bug tracker ;^), if you snap what I mean.

lvu prune now no longer exists. Please use "lunar prune" to call this
function manually if you don't run autoprune. I expect all non-install
options to be removed from non-logical places. You might give "lunar
fix" a try soon ;^). I'm sorta proposing making lunar the general
frontend, making things like "lunar install xxxxx", "lunar download
xxx", "lunar remove xxxx", possible, while still having lin, lget and
lrm around for shortcuts, but this is all theory now...
