strange errors

hi

I just installed a new box with lunar from the 1.3 cd. I did the usual stuff I 
do when installing lunar:

install
set root password
remove unwanted modules
lin Linux-PAM
configure NIS & NFS
lunar update
lunar rebuild

I also linned xinetd. Now I get the following errors on boot:

...
Starting xinetd: broken daemon: created /var/run/xinetd.pid
...
Starting sshd: broken daemon: created /var/run/sshd.pid
...

Both xinetd and sshd are running and seem to work OK, but does anyone know 
what these errors are about?
