Never used it. Didn't know that it exist and what it does :)
In RedHat/CentOS I use in work dos2unix/unix2dos packages are present.

dos2unix module has mac2unix/unix2mac which is missing in recode.
Nobody I know uses Macs so this is not important.
I removed dos2unix from moonbase to avoid file conflicts.
