moonbase git testing branch for devs

hi there,

talked about it yesterday in #lunar -- would it be a problem to create a
git moonbase testing branch for accessible only by devs for testing purposes?

can we try this out? this would make sharing 'not so safe' bumps between devs
for testing surely a lot easier.

if i understand git correctly, by not ever switching to branch testing on the
server side, which creates the moonbase tarballs for non-devs, there should be
not much to do to make this work.
