Hello,
I have just finished work on udev 130 module. Since official moonbase version
(udev 124) there were some important changes. The most visible one to Lunar
user/developer is changed location of *.rules files. Now *.rules are present
in /lib/udev/rules.d instead of /etc/udev/rules.d. The /etc/udev/rules.d (now
empty) is expected to be user/admin place for storing his/her own custom
*.rules which will survive udev updates. New Lunar ISO release may be good
start point for this new udev files/dirs layout. Of course users of older
ISOs can also use this new udev module. Just remember to do lunar update
first to make sure lunar-init is up to date, then pull this development udev
from zbiggy-WIP. The updated udev-130-rules.patch is already available at
patch server. If you recently played with later udev releases and
encountered 'delete_path: rmdir' bug during boot, this udev module handles
this correctly and udev starts without any error.
have a nice day and udev 130 testing,
Zbigniew 'zbiggy' Luszpinski
