or maybe just remove xterm, twm and xclock from xinit xinitrc?
and replace it with startkde for example, or other desktop?
I remember when I installed X and kde as Lunar newbie I encountered 2 errors:
1) X can not start because of missing xorg.conf (there was no info from lunar
what to do - after googling I discovered x must be configured by some X
configure tools). lin after installing X could:
a) execute one of x configurators if xorg.conf is not found
b) copy default preconfigured xorg.conf (I can make profile for Nvidia)
c) display message: xorg.conf missing - please make it.
Now after lining X I just copy xorg.conf from previous Lunar installation.
2) startkde returns error because of no screens found or something like this.
After try & error probing removed from /usr/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc all xterm,
twm and xclock texts to replace them with startkde.
Solving 1 & 2 in any easy way for beginner will make Lunar more userfriendly.
