about the modular xorg

The xorg ppl only guarantee compatibility whitin the releases. At this
moment i have no needs of breaking that assured compatibility. I know
the ati and the intel gpu driver have nice upgrades ready but as far
as i know they do require an update of xorg-server to 1.1.1 . Which
breaks compatibility with older drivers.
Anyway... I'm following the xorg mailing list and as i have seen that
they were bumping quite a lot of modules to a new version i think the
X11R7.2 release is imminent. which is the other reason i didn't feel
like updating... They actually planned this bump already in november
which is why i didn't watch the individual releases of the tree.
