Would something like this be right? :

KERNEL=="self/fd[0-2]*", NAME="proc/%n", SYMLINK+="%k", MODE="0600"

I don't know if a "GROUP" is needed. Hmm, looking on another machine with 
PCLinuxOS on it. /proc/self has 1777 and root.root. 

Which section in 50-udev.rules should it go?
