Hello,

at the end of a good dev meeting I'm willing to sum up the main things:

Agenda:

1a) 'Is_at_latest_version'. Check wether dependencies are at the latest
available version and recompile if needed.
Conclusion: To be implented by sofar.

1b) Profiles -> aliases + groups. Attempt to replace groups with aliases
that point to several modules.
Conclusion: Might get implented. Has very low urgency level though.

1c) Documentation. Almost any kind of lunar docs need an update.
Conclusion: Moe is going to coordinate the effort while being a (Quote):
"slave-driver". Expect further impact at the maillinglist ;-)

1d) Be more careful about module writing. Unthoughtful module writing my
cause 'lin fix' to recompile modules that aren't missing anything at all
(Example: libnullplugin.so; firefox/mozilla module).
Conclusion: _Be_ more careful.

1e) depends_recompile/depends <module> <action>. Usefull incase major
modules like perl are getting updated breaking all the depended perl
modules.
Conclusion: Take a look at how SMGL handles this (TRIGGER events, have a
look at the log for further information). Discussion scheduled for the next
meeting.

Pending: gcc 3.4.x, 2.6.x ISO + udev, Gnome 2.8

Next meeting scheduled for the 7th of November (Sunday).
