Been working on the new 2.33 blender and fighting with it to
build...unsuccessfully. Since blender 2.32, they have moved from
autotools, to using SCons for building; which I don't particularly
like...So I have a script to build blender 2.33 without scons, and would
like to have other people test it and give feedback about it.
Noteworthy info:
- No custom compiler flags yet, they're set to the project defaults
- No distcc support (wouldn't work WITH scons anyway)
- Depends are the same as 'lvu DEPENDS blender'
- New depends: OpenAL (openal-cvs)
Please download http://download.blender.org/source/blender-2.33.tar.bz2
and untar to /usr/src, download
http://war.interhact.net/~striker/downloads/Build to the blender source
dir and 'sh Build' please report any issues to me.
Thanks,
