alternatives:
a: have module linc (the base gnome module as I recall) wipe
/opt/lunar/gnome, a lunar fix will attempt to recompile everything that
installed "something" in /opt/lunar/gnome anyways, so this might be a
quickie solution.
b: e-mail the users informing them of this action. Add messages with a
required user input (acknowledge) to a core gnome module, b0rk if the
user doesn't ACK, then tell them to RTFM and STFW.
c: somehow lrm all modules that installed something in
/opt/lunar...first (lrm --keepconfig $(list_modules_in_opt_lunar_gnome))
d: think further
