This docbook-profile seems to need a fix...
Niccolo and me had problems to lin docbook-utils. And the error was
about
"cannot generate system identifier for public text "-//OASIS//DTD
DocBook V3.1//EN""
..so about docbook-3.1.
just to remove all modules from docbook-profile (or doc-tools) and
linning them from scratch does not help. but it worked to "lin -c
docbook-3.1" when the rest of docbook-utils (beside -utils) were already
installed.
(you only have to delete the last line from /etc/sgml/catalog afterwards
and docbook-utils will lin)
the weird thing is that docbook-profiles linned fine on my other PC and
on my girlfriends notebook...
i found that, when i lin docbook-profile here (on the fscked one), the
/usr/src/tmp dir isnt being deleted for all docbook-?.? installs (for
example docbook-3.1). i get a prompt instead, asking me to overwrite
existing files. even when i answer A (yes to All), Ill end up with a
fscked install.
so why do we keep /usr/src/tmp here but not on the other two computers?
well....the only thing that differs between them is that i use TMPFS
here but not on the others. oh yeah, and i use a cvs moonbase here and a
"normal" ones on the others.
now its your part to figure it out...and then please fix it ^^)
TIA, cmak
