coreutils old-style options

There have been a few problems with the latest coreutils, first j2sdk and now
I just found out gcc has problems as well (see my bug report on qt build
failure).

Instead of adding _POSIX2_VERSION=199209 to every module that needs it, we
could make the coreutils support the old-style options by setting
DEFAULT_POSIX2_VERSION=199209 during configure [1]. What do you think?
