the above is quite annoying... I just had another X-less box install j2sdk (k6-II machine) just because the question timed out and I was afk. db4 should by default NOT use j2sdk, and once answered, the question should not appear anymore until you "lin -r db4". perhaps use MODULE_CONFIG? sofar
