Log:
Adobe fixed some bugs.
Hardware video acceleration added using OpenGL/GLX output.
It can be switched back to software rendering using flash control panel.
This hw acceleration may look good but video playback is still CPU hungry.
Mplayer/xine plugin using X-Video output will use 5% of CPU power and flash plugin
55% for the same clip playback. I told Adobe about X-Video extension but
Adobe still claims: "Hardware scaling is not available on Linux."
Bill Gates would be happy seeing this black PR. X-Video provides hardware scaling
and flash is the only player which can't use X-Video and hw scaling.
This beta version will not work with Konqueror or Opera -
white box present in place of flash content.
Worth installing only if you have powerful OpenGL/GLX and use
firefox or seamonkey.
