Log:

Initial import. I think most of the optional depends have
been covered. If a few were missed and really really wanted
or a dependency was missed let me know.

This is a fork of ImageMagick. AFAICT it does not conflict with
ImageMagick. The configure option --enable-symbol-prefix takes
care of that, I think. Anyway, a lunar fix of ImageMagick showed
no errors so it seems to be.
