  Hi Terry,

  Well, on the slang docs it say that this version is compatible with the 
1.4.9 one. But you have right about jed and slrn. The other modules compile 
and work just fine with slang 2.x. I guess i'll have to make a slang2 module 
in the moonbase as you sugested.
